What you’ll be doing:
- You will be responsible for maximising and maintaining sales of the acute care portfolio across emergency departments, ITU, hospital laboratories, haematology, cardiovascular theatres and cardiac cath labs.
- The portfolio includes Acute care point of care systems, reagents and consumables such as blood gas testing system, a comprehensive liquid reagent portfolio providing rapid differential diagnostic information to optimize transfusion decisions in major surgeries and traumatic bleeding scenarios. Rapid whole blood testing and systems providing rapid, accurate and reproducible results, for patient management decisions in acute care settings, from the Cardiovascular Operating Room to the Cardiac Catherization Lab.
- The products are premium solutions so it is a clinical, value based selling where you will work closely with health economics.
- Your main role will be to maximise and maintain sales of Acute Care systems and reagents by the provision to users and potential customers of highly professional product sales and support activity.
- Stakeholders selling to: POCT environments such as Biochemistry/Pathology, theatres or wards their roles being typically Scientists, Anaesthetists, Perfusionists, Consultants Surgeons and of course procurement.
Here’s what you need:
- You must have credibility in front of customers to be able to hold a strong clinical conversation, and come from a solid clinical/scientific background. Sales experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
- You should be commercially willing as well as the ability to pick up technical product knowledge.
- You must work well within a team and have the capacity to manage your territory as your own business.
Basic Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
Bonus: c£8,500 uncapped (half paid monthly - % of consumables sold, half annually - based on achieving target). Once you hit target, you get double the % of consumables sold
