Established in 2003, you will be joining one of the largest privately owned healthcare companies in Western Europe who have become a leading provider to all healthcare institutions with an expert team and an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare market. Their vision is to become a pan-European organisation with a reputation for exceeding their customers’ and their partners’ expectations. They inspire and motivate their employees to act on improving patient outcomes by delivering the best and most innovative healthcare products to clinicians and caregivers throughout Europe. They are constantly looking to expand, both in product portfolio and geographically.

What you’ll enjoy:

  • Great career development potential
  • Be part of a successful and growing team
  • Inclusive company culture
  • Dedicated 8-week training programme

What you’ll be doing:

  • The Clinical Specialist role is customer focused including both sales and support and involves promoting the endoscopy offering by working closely with the Territory Manager on patch.
  • The role works closely with the existing field-based team to deliver, install, maintain and support the medical products and associated equipment in the territory.
  • The role also involves the presentation of products and services to Clinicians, Unit Managers and Nursing Staff as well as the Education of customers and team members in the practical features, benefits, handling of product, new technologies and the techniques employed in using the equipment.
  • You'll spend about 40% of your time in decontamination rooms training HCAs. You'll also spend time in procedural rooms.
  • It's also worth noting that some of the equipment you'll be working with is bulky, and there will be a requirement to move it.
  • This is a great opportunity to make your first move into medical sales. Starting off in a clinical specialist role, will allow you to develop your commercial experience, and eventually move into a medical sales position.

  • You should have strong technical skills and be able to provide training and trouble shooting from end users. Ideally you will have some knowledge of Endoscopy or medical capital equipment, this could come from being a Nurse, Service Engineer or from sales.
  • You will need to be prepared to work hard and muck in when needed. This is not a 9-5 job, and at times long days will be required as and when is needed by your customers. At other times, it will be quieter, and you'll be able to take time back.
  • A biomedical science or biomedical engineering background will also be considered.
