What you’ll be doing:

  • The focus of the role is to provide clinical support within the theatre environment to all theatre staff (clinical/non-clinical) as required on your territory.
  • You will also be trained to develop a business plan through effective relationships with customers with support from the Regional Business Manager and to develop new accounts within the territory across an upper limb and foot and ankle extremity fixation portfolio.
  • In this role it is important to be available for customers in an ‘on call’ capacity as defined by account requirements and provide clinical education and training on all products via in servicing, workshops and in theatre education
  • Stakeholders selling to: Orthopaedic Surgeons and related theatre staff

Here’s what you need:

  • You should be a Theatre Nurse/ODP looking to move into devices from a nursing position or have current/previous clinical specialist in a surgical portfolio (ideally orthopaedic related).
  • As an alternative, a Physiotherapist or Sports Science/Biomedical Science graduate looking to move into the medical device sector will also be considered if you are driven and determined to work hard to succeed.
  • Any prior commercial or orthopaedic experience would be an advantage, but personality and drive are much more important. The training is comprehensive, for the right person concessions on experience will be given.

Basic Salary: Negotiable c£35-38k

Bonus: c£5,000 year 1 (when full rep will be £16k+)

Car policy: Car allowance of £600 p/mth
