What you’ll be doing:

As Operations Manager you will oversee UK office operations, provide technical support, and lead administrative functions. This role will report to the UK Country Manager and play a key role in supporting the sales team and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Establish and manage office operations, procedures, and workflows.
  • Oversee inventory, logistics, and supply chain functions.
  • Collaborate with global headquarters on operational matters.
  • Create and maintain operational budgets, sales reports, and performance metrics.

Technical Support

  • Provide technical assistance to internal teams and customers.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers on product inquiries.
  • Handle product returns, technical issues, and customer service escalations.
  • Maintain a technical product knowledge database.

Administrative Leadership

  • Manage CRM and ERP systems.
  • Support sales teams across UK territories.
  • Work closely with Accountants and Bookkeepers.
  • Oversee office facilities and equipment.

Here’s what you need:

  • 5+ years of operations management experience in a small to medium-sized company
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and sales management software
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills

  • Independent, self-motivated, and proactive
  • Fast learner, particularly in technical areas
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure

You'll need to be the kind of person who likes to make things happen. You'll be excellent at customer service.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private health, 5% employer pension contributions with salary sacrifice scheme, optional private health, critical illness and life insurance.
