Who you will be working for:
You will be joining the European unit of a leading global healthcare organisation, which employs over 35,000 people worldwide. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will serve as a Commercial Manager on its Medical division.
In the UK, the company operates as two separate entities: one that has been providing high-quality blood glucose monitoring systems to the NHS since 2000 and is now the leading blood glucose monitoring company in the UK, and another that offers comprehensive renal solutions for haemodialysis and dialysis-related treatment. As with the company's global operations, the UK branches continue to grow year on year by delivering high-quality products that offer excellent value to the NHS, accompanied by exceptional levels of customer service.
What you’ll be doing:
- Due to an internal promotion, this company are adding to their sales headcount by recruiting a new Commercial Manager to join their renal team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll sell the complete renal portfolio to the UK healthcare market. You'll be selling to a range of key decision makers in the public and private healthcare sectors, including Renal Service Managers, Clinical Directors of Renal Medicine, Consultant Nephrologists, Procurement Managers, and Renal Nurses.
- Drive sales of the company's renal equipment and devices.
- Consolidate and leverage existing customer relationships and ensure effective sales positioning of its products and services.
- Source and promote new business opportunities.
- Achieve all agreed financial targets in line with personal and company objectives.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecast for own territory.
- Help support the rest of the sales team with new product installations
- Facilitate effective project management with focus on smooth and effective problem-solving.
- Provide market intelligence feedback information to maintain accurate, up to date customer records.
- Proactively and continuously cooperate and communicate with colleagues in
- Sales, Technical, Clinical Application and Quality functions.
- Participate in National/International congress trade exhibitions.
- Lead, manage and monitor, where appropriate the tender management process for all tenders relevant to assigned customer portfolio to ensure long-term business growth.
Here’s what you need:
- You'll be an experienced sales person within the medical sales industry and have experience of the renal sector.
- You will be highly motivated and have effective organisational skills, as well as the ability to work both individually and as part of a diverse and dynamic team.
- You must be prepared to travel with up to 80% of your time in the field with some occasional travel nationally.
- You'll enjoy hunting out new business and opening up new accounts.
- You'll be target driven with a consistent sales track record of achieving target.

Basic Salary: c£50,000 - £58,000
Bonus: £15k
