What you’ll be doing:
- You'll be selling a large range of highly specialist and innovative surgical instrumentation to surgeons within Scotland and the North East.
- The role of the territory manager is to effectively increase sales volume and revenue sales year on year, whilst developing and maintaining strong customer relations and increasing market share.
- You must build a network of KOLs/advocates in the field and foster strong relationships to grow market share in the UK.
- The manufacturer are innovators in the field of surgical instrumentation, so you'll have the opportunity to work closely with the surgeons to influence the development of new products.
- It's a busy job, where you'll be managing the full sales process from trials to quotes to closing the business and after sales support.
- You'll participate in study days, exhibitions and workshops on-territory and nationally as required. Infrequent overseas travel might be required.
Stakeholders/Selling to: Surgeons (vascular, spine, neuro and cardiac), theatre team leads, sterile services and procurement.
Here’s what you need:
- Experience selling surgical instrumentation or medical devices.
- Someone with a clinical background and sales experience will also be considered.
- Experience of selling in cardiac, spine/neuro or vascular surgery market.
- Highly developed interpersonal, networking and influencing skills.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.
- Proven experience in managing pressure, deadlines and setbacks
Ultimately cultural fit is the most important thing though. You'll need to be a self-starter and able to work autonomously. A good team player, a collaborative approach to working and excellent relationship building skills will help you thrive in the company.
Bonus points if you have: Experience with sterile services, theatre team leads, and consultants
Salary: to £48,000
Bonus: £24k OT OE paid quarterly.
